Privacy Policy
Plain answers about the personal data this website handles. Last updated: August 2026.
Who we are
NOC Polymers, Unipessoal Lda (NIF PT518950824), Praça do Município 483, 4815-013 Vizela, Portugal, is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. You can reach us at geral@nocpolymers.com or +351 935 653 848.
What we collect
Only what you send us. When you use the contact form, or write to us by email or WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to share: typically your name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your enquiry. We collect nothing else. There are no user accounts on this site and no analytics trackers.
Why we process it
We use your data for one purpose: to answer your enquiry and, if you decide to buy from us or sell to us, to conduct that commercial relationship. The legal basis under the GDPR is Article 6(1)(b) — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract — and, for general correspondence, our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f)).
How the contact form works
Submissions from the contact form are delivered to our email inbox via the FormSubmit service. FormSubmit processes the submitted data solely to deliver it to us; it does not use it for its own purposes. From that point on, your message sits in our mailbox like any other email.
How long we keep it
Only as long as needed. Enquiries that go nowhere are deleted once the exchange is clearly over. If an enquiry turns into a commercial relationship, we keep the related correspondence for the duration of that relationship and any retention period required by tax and commercial law.
What we never do
- We do not sell your data, to anyone, ever.
- We do not add you to marketing lists without your consent. Contacting us for a quote does not sign you up for anything.
- We do not share your data with third parties beyond the delivery service described above, unless the law requires it.
Cookies and fonts
This site sets no tracking cookies. The fonts used on the site (Lexend and DM Sans) are loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those font files, it sends your IP address to Google's servers, which Google processes to deliver the files. See Google's own privacy policy for details of that processing.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it rectified or erased, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to or restrict its processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority, the CNPD — Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (www.cnpd.pt).
How to exercise them
Email geral@nocpolymers.com with your request. We will reply within the timeframes the GDPR sets — normally one month.
